“As a photographer, I observe and react to the little details. As an artist, I feel as though art making comes natural to me, which allows me to be more of myself. With both photography and art making I get to travel and work with a variety of people both casually and formally. No matter the circumstances each project I work on holds its own meaning for me.”

Book Dylan
Dylan De’Arman began studying photography in the spring of 2016 when he first picked up a DSLR camera for a landscape photography course. Since then he has continued to develop artistically and commercially. Dylan now has extended his practice to shooting and developing his own film using Large Format View cameras. You can find more work examples under Portraiture and Projects and Exhibits.
Dylan also helps other artists market their work by helping them create digital images of their work for printing.
Having a strong love and interest as an analog photographer, Dylan is also an active member of the Eugene Darkroom Group. Being a member gives him the space to use, work, meet other artists and develop ideas in a darkroom to develop his film and unique one-of-a-kind prints.
Additionally, Dylan has a “Green Thumb,” and an extensive knowledge on plant identification. This aids his practice by the necessity of “slowing down” and staying observant to surroundings and the environment.
“Like a shadow, I’ll capture your likeness.”

If you’re looking for a Garden Sitter while you’re away, I extend my services beyond the photographic realm so that your plants can photosynthesize happily.”
